We also give more time than needed during each session to ensure your dog feels calm, comfortable, and well cared for, so they always leave looking and feeling their best.
Before any grooming session, we’ll have a consultation to assess your dog’s comfort level. Some dogs may benefit from being around other dogs, while others may need a quieter, one-on-one grooming session. In those cases, we always do our best to accommodate the pets needs so if they need to have special accommodation we will book them to be the only pet in the salon weather that’s an early am appointment or last appointment of the day! 😊
Our priority is always your dog’s wellbeing, and we’ll give you transparent advice to ensure they have the best experience possible.
If you're visiting us for the first time, we kindly request that the actual owner comes to the salon. This is to ensure we can discuss grooming details in advance and confirm your satisfaction. Once we've met you and your dog, it's acceptable for someone else, aged 18 or over, to handle drop-off or pick-up in the future. Please inform us in advance if someone else will be involved.
When you visit us for the first time, we'll begin with a chat in the reception area getting to know you and your dog. This crucial step helps us understand your dog's grooming needs, including any specific details or past experiences. We'll ask you to fill out a short form to ensure we have all the necessary information on file. After your dog is checked in, we'll take them to our grooming area. We'll provide you with an estimated pick-up time and call you 20 minutes before your dog is ready, so there's no need to wait around. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!
The grooming schedule for your dog can differ based on several factors, such as breed, coat length, individual grooming requirements, and desired style. For example, a Cockapoo with a thick coat will typically need grooming every 6 - 8 weeks. If you prefer a much longer coat length, there is always the option to have a bath in between your dog's grooming sessions. During the check-in process, we'll carefully assess your dog, considering their lifestyle, and then recommend an ideal grooming routine tailored specifically for your dog.
Yes, we only use high-quality, natural, and pet-safe grooming products tailored to specific needs. All our shampoos, conditioners, and facial treatments are gentle and pH-balanced to support your dog's skin.
As professional groomers, we use moisturizing, natural shampoos and products designed to prevent dryness. These products have a pH value specially formulated for a dog's delicate skin. Dryness is often only a problem when cheaper shampoos are used along with an insufficient bathing process.
Yes, regular baths paired with our deshedding treatment can greatly minimize shedding, effectively removing loose fur and enhancing the coat's condition.
Our pricing is calculated based on various factors, including breed, coat condition, age, and any specific grooming requirements. To get an estimate, please contact us. We will always offer you a price upfront, and a precise quote will be provided on the day of your appointment. We aim to offer fair, competitive pricing while ensuring your dog receives the best care possible.
Beyond cleanliness, our bath service offers essential benefits, such as uncovering and removing unwanted ticks and grass seeds. Additionally, it enables us to monitor for sore areas or lumps and bumps that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. This proactive approach can prevent health concerns and contributes to their overall well-being.
We kindly request that you pick up your dog within 30 minutes of receiving our notification that their appointment has concluded. While we understand that occasional delays can occur, if you are unable to collect on time, a fee of $5 per 30 minutes beyond the scheduled pick-up time will apply.
